dance of death

i am participating on an online contest hosted by Creative Allies  to create a t-shirt design inspired the Mexican celebration 'Day of the Dead' (Dias de los Muertos). I always found this tradition fascinating, seeing death  and the dead not with fear but as 'friends' with whom you can hang out with and enjoy yourself (even just once a year) is a very οptimistic view in my opinion.

it is also very close to my illustration style, and a nice 'excuse' to try a little more colouring than usual. hope you enjoy both versions (as always, i prefer the bw more).
